The World Golf Foundation’s mission is to unite the golf industry around initiatives that promote, enhance the growth of and provide access to the game worldwide, while preserving golf’s traditional values and passing them on to others. It accomplishes its mission through:

• American Golf Industry Coalition Leads the annual “National Golf Day” and brings the industry together to advocate for efforts that enhance the vitality of the industry and recreational levels of the sport. Collectively we tell the story of golf’s contributions to the economy (local and national), health and wellness benefits, charitable giving, and environmental and sustainability initiatives.

The WGF's Board is comprised of golf's major international organizations and professional Tours: LPGA, PGA of America, PGA TOUR and the USGA.
