INDUCTION
The Induction Ceremony is the focal point of the golf calendar
each fall when new members are welcomed into the Hall of Fame. The
Ceremony takes place at the Hall of Fame at World Golf Village and
is broadcast to an international audience on Golf Channel.
There are five avenues for a player or contributor to be
inducted into the Hall of Fame: PGA TOUR Ballot, International
Ballot, LPGA Points System, Lifetime Achievement Category and
Veterans Category.
New members are recognized in a variety of ways upon their
Induction. Inductees receive a special Induction crystal trophy.
Bronze relief plaques for each are added to the Wall of Fame and
personal items are added to their individual lockers in the Members
Locker Room. Additionally, special Inductee exhibits are created
for display throughout Shell Hall.
Additional information and details about the World Golf Hall of
Fame's Induction Ceremony may be found here.
